Golf Handicap Calculator

The World Handicap System turns a round into a score differential, averages the lowest of your recent differentials into an index, and converts that index into strokes for the tees you are playing. This page does those three steps: enter an adjusted gross score with the course rating and slope for one round, a list of differentials for the average, or an index with the slope, rating and par for a course handicap. Every result names the rule it comes from and shows the working. It is not an official Handicap Index, which only an authorized club or association can issue through a licensed scoring service from the scores you submit, and the caps and exceptional score reductions that calculation applies are not done here.
