Car Lease Calculator

A lease payment is made of two parts and this calculator shows both: the depreciation you pay for the months you drive the car, and the rent charge the money factor adds on top. Enter the MSRP, the price you negotiated, the residual percentage, the money factor, the term and any cash down, and it returns the monthly payment with each part broken out and the money factor converted to an equivalent APR. Sales tax is applied to the monthly payment, which is how most US states tax a lease. Registration, title and tax charged up front on a down payment are left out, so a dealer worksheet usually lands a little above this figure.

The residual is a percentage of MSRP, not of the price you negotiated.
Divide a quoted APR by 2400 to get the money factor.
Acquisition fee and anything else rolled into the lease.
