Car Loan Amortization Calculator

This tool prints the amortization schedule behind a car loan instead of only the monthly payment. Enter the vehicle price, any down payment or trade-in, the interest rate and the term in months, and you get a row for every payment showing how much went to interest, how much went to principal and what is still owed. A second tab collapses the same schedule into one line per year. Interest is rounded to the cent each month the way a lender bills it, so the last payment is usually a few cents different from the rest. Sales tax, dealer fees and extra payments are not modelled, so enter the amount actually financed.
