CD Ladder Calculator

A CD ladder splits one deposit into several certificates of staggered lengths, so one matures every few months instead of everything at once. Enter the total, the number of rungs, how far apart the maturities sit and the rate for each rung, and you get every rung's maturity value, the total interest and a blended annual yield worked out as an internal rate of return. A second action reinvests each maturing rung once, at a rollover rate you supply, for the full length of the ladder. No rate is looked up anywhere, so every figure here rests on a number you typed.

Calculator Type
Split equally between the rungs.
How many separate certificates the money is split into.
The shortest rung runs this long, the next twice as long, and so on.
Shortest rung first. One number applies to every rung.
