Prorated Rent Calculator

This tool splits a month of rent for a tenant who moves in or out partway through it. Enter the full monthly rent and the move date, then pick how the daily rate is worked out: the real days in that month, a flat 30 day month, or the yearly rent spread over 365 days. The move day itself counts as a day charged, which is the usual convention rather than a universal one. Leases differ on the day count and on rounding, so treat the figure as an estimate to check against what your landlord bills rather than a quote.
