Gematria Calculator

Gematria is a tradition of giving every letter a fixed number and adding them up. Enter an English word to see it scored in six published ciphers at once, or type Hebrew letters for the standard value, with or without the higher final-form values. Each result prints the letter-by-letter sum so the arithmetic is yours to check. The ciphers disagree with one another by design, so a total only means something inside the cipher that produced it, and two words landing on the same number is a property of the table rather than of the words.
