Ideal body weight is a reference figure, not a target set by a doctor. This tool uses the Devine formula, which starts at 50 kg for men and 45.5 kg for women at five feet, then adds 2.3 kg for every inch above that. You also get the weight range that sits inside a healthy BMI for the same height, shown in kilograms or pounds. Build and muscle are not accounted for, so treat both numbers as an estimate rather than medical advice.
