Ballistic Calculator

This ballistic calculator estimates where a rifle bullet goes: the path relative to your line of sight, the come-up in MOA and mils, crosswind drift, retained velocity, energy and time of flight. Enter muzzle velocity, the G1 ballistic coefficient, bullet weight, your zero range and the height of the scope above the bore, and it returns a single distance, a drop table every hundred yards, or the maximum point blank range for a vital zone you choose. The model is a flat fire point mass trajectory with a constant drag coefficient, which is a simplification of G1: it tracks published tables closely inside normal hunting distances and grows optimistic further out, and it says nothing useful once the bullet slows below the speed of sound. Spin drift, Coriolis, shooting up or down hill and non-standard air are not modelled, so confirm the real zero and the real drop on a range at measured distances before you rely on any of it.
