Ideal Gas Law Calculator

This tool works the ideal gas law, PV = nRT, in whichever direction you need it. Pick the quantity you are solving for, enter the other three in atmospheres, kPa, bar, psi, mmHg, litres, cubic feet, kelvin, Celsius or Fahrenheit, and it converts everything to SI, divides once and converts back, showing the rearranged formula and the substituted numbers. A second action runs the combined gas law between a starting and a final state, and a third turns a molar mass into a density or a measured density into a molar mass. Real gases drift from these results at high pressure and near condensation, which the output states rather than hides.

Whatever is in the box for this quantity is ignored.
Fill this in to also get the mass of the gas, or to work from a mass instead of moles.

Needed for the density direction. 32 for O2, 28.014 for N2, 44.01 for CO2, 28.96 for dry air.
Needed for the molar mass direction. g/L is the same number as kg/m^3.
