Wet Bulb Temperature Calculator
Wet bulb temperature is what a thermometer wrapped in a wet wick settles at, and it is the lowest temperature evaporation alone can reach in a given air mass. Enter the air temperature and the relative humidity and you get the wet bulb in Celsius and Fahrenheit, the depression below the dry bulb, and the dew point as a cross-check; a second mode works backwards from a pair of dry and wet bulb readings to the humidity. The arithmetic uses the Stull 2011 fit, valid from -20 C to 50 C at 5 to 99 percent humidity and sea level pressure, where it is accurate to roughly a third of a degree. It is the thermodynamic wet bulb, not the WBGT index used in occupational heat rules.
