Deadline Calculator

A deadline is usually counted in working days rather than calendar days, so this tool counts both. Enter the date you are counting from and the deadline, choose the working week and add the number of public holidays that fall inside the span, and it returns the days left, the working days left, the weeks and days, and the working hours if you give an hours-per-day figure. The second mode runs it backwards: a start date plus a number of working days gives the calendar date the deadline lands on. The start day is not counted and the last day is, which is the convention filing and notice periods normally use. Public holidays are a number you supply rather than a calendar held here, because holiday dates differ by country, region and year.

Calculator Type

Enter today's date as the start, or any other date you are counting from.

Usually today. This day is not counted.
Pick a calendar and the holidays inside the span are found and taken off for you. Anything it cannot know about - a regional holiday, a company shutdown - still goes in the count field below, and the two are added together.
Count only the ones that fall on a working day. Anything found by the calendar above is already taken off, so this is for the extras.
Leave at 0 to skip the hours figure.

Each one pushes the date a working day later. Holidays found by the calendar above are already stepped over, so this is for the extras.
