True Position Calculator

True position is a diametral tolerance, so a feature sitting a given distance from its basic location uses up twice that distance of the zone. Enter the basic and the measured coordinates, the tolerance from the feature control frame, the size limits and the actual mating size, and the bonus a circle M or circle L modifier earns is worked out alongside the pass or fail. A second tab takes a whole pattern, one feature per line, and reports every feature with the worst one named. Datums are not modelled, so the coordinates you type are taken as already reported in the datum reference frame the frame calls out.

Calculator Type
Units
The diametral zone, the number after the position symbol. Not a plus or minus figure.
This decides which size limit is maximum material condition, so it changes the bonus.
Only used when there is a material condition modifier. Leave it blank for RFS.
