Wood Board Feet Calculator

A board foot calculator works out the volume of lumber you are buying or cutting. Enter thickness, width and length for a standard board, use the log mode for round stock measured by diameter, or use the multiple mode to price up a batch of identical boards at once. A board foot is one inch thick by twelve inches square, and timber is sold by it rather than by length. Getting the count right before you reach the yard avoids buying short.
