Bill Split Calculator

This calculator handles the bills that do not divide evenly. Enter what each person ordered and it shares the tax and tip out in proportion, so somebody who had a starter and a drink is not paying for someone else's steak. The second mode splits a total by uneven shares instead, which is how a shared room, a longer stay or a bigger group within the group usually gets settled. Every share is rounded to the cent by largest remainder, so the odd penny lands on one person and the parts add back to the bill exactly rather than leaving the table a cent short.
