Compa-Ratio Calculator

Compa-ratio is a salary divided by the midpoint of its pay band, so 1.00 means paid at the rate the band was priced at. Enter the salary with the band minimum, midpoint and maximum and you get the compa-ratio, the range penetration, the quartile the salary sits in and what it would take to reach the midpoint. A second action shows what a raise does to both figures, and a third gives the group ratio for a team in one band. Whether the band itself is right is a market pricing question this tool cannot answer.
