Dividend Calculator

This works out dividend income from figures you supply yourself. The first tab turns shares, share price and yield into the annual, per payment and monthly income plus yield on cost; the second compounds it over a number of years, optionally reinvesting each payment into more shares and adding a yearly contribution; the third divides the dividend per share by earnings per share to give the payout ratio and dividend cover. Nothing is looked up, so the yield and the growth rates are your assumptions and the projection is only the arithmetic those assumptions imply. Real dividends are declared one period at a time and can be cut, and the figures here are gross of tax.
