ROI Calculator
Return on investment compares what an investment gave back with what it cost. Enter the amount invested, the amount returned and any fees, and you get the net profit and the ROI percentage; add the number of years held and you also get the annualized rate. The annualized figure matters because forty percent over eight years is a far weaker result than forty percent over one. Both modes assume a single amount in and a single amount out, with no deposits or withdrawals along the way.
