Dosage Calculator

This tool runs the three arithmetic checks used in medication math: dose ordered divided by dose on hand times the quantity it comes in, a weight-based dose in mg per kg, and an IV drip rate from volume, time and drop factor. Every figure it uses comes from you, so it converts an order that already exists and never suggests what dose to give. Units are not converted between fields, so the ordered strength and the strength on hand must already be written in the same unit. It checks arithmetic only, and the prescriber order plus an independent second check govern anything that is actually administered.

Calculator Type

The desired over have formula. Write the ordered strength and the strength on hand in the same unit; nothing is converted between them.

Milliliters per that strength, or 1 for one tablet.
