Growth Percentile Calculator

This calculator places a child's weight, length or head circumference against the CDC 2000 growth reference for birth to 36 months. Enter the child's sex, the age in months and the measurement in metric or imperial units, and it returns the percentile, the z-score and the reference median for that age. It uses the LMS parameters from the CDC growth chart data files published by the National Center for Health Statistics, interpolated between the half-month ages those files list. The CDC itself recommends the WHO growth standards rather than these charts for infants under 24 months, so treat a result below that age as indicative. The figure is an estimate drawn from a reference population and is not medical advice, so raise any concern about a child's growth with a doctor.
