Weight Loss Percentage Calculator

Losing fifteen pounds means something different at 180 than it does at 300, which is why weight loss is usually reported as a percentage of starting weight. Enter what you started at and what you weigh today, in pounds, kilograms or stone, and this returns the percentage lost along with the weights that sit at the five, ten, fifteen and twenty percent marks. A second mode adds a goal weight and shows how much of that journey is done, and a third works backwards from a percentage to the number on the scale. It is plain arithmetic on the two weights you enter, so it says nothing about body composition or how fast the loss should happen.

The same percentage, entered the way a baby is weighed: pounds in one field and ounces in the other. Useful for a newborn, whose weight is recorded to the ounce and never as a decimal.

Sixteen ounces make a pound, so this field takes 0 to 15.99.
