Significant Figures (Sig Fig) Calculator

This calculator evaluates an expression and reports the answer to the correct number of significant figures. Type the expression and it works out the result while tracking how many figures the inputs justify, then rounds accordingly. Significant figures are where marks get lost in science classes, because the arithmetic is right but the precision claimed is not. It also shows how many significant figures each part of the input carried.
