Radioactive Decay Calculator
This calculator applies the decay law N = N0 x 2^(-t/T) to a radioisotope and to a two-step decay chain. Give it a starting quantity or activity, a half-life and an elapsed time and it returns the amount left, the activity in becquerels and curies, the decay constant and the mean lifetime. Other tabs recover the half-life from two readings taken a known time apart, and follow a parent into its daughter with the Bateman solution, reporting when the daughter peaks. It assumes one constant half-life and no branching, so longer chains fall outside it.
