Audiobook Speed Calculator

Playback speed shortens an audiobook exactly in proportion, and this tool does both directions of that sum. Enter the runtime and a speed and it returns the listening time, the time saved against normal speed, and, if you say how long you listen each day, the days left to finish. The second action runs it backwards: give it the runtime and the listening time you have before a deadline and it returns the speed that gets you there, rounded up, plus the nearest setting a player actually offers. Whether you take the words in at that speed is the part no calculator settles.
