Trip Cost Calculator

This calculator works out what a road trip costs from end to end, not just the gas. Enter the one-way distance, your fuel economy and the price you are paying per gallon, then add tolls, lodging, food and anything else, and it returns the total, the cost per traveller and the cost per mile. The second mode compares driving against flying: it puts fuel and tolls on one side, airfare for everyone plus a rental car and airport parking on the other, and tells you which is cheaper and by how much. Every price is one you type in, so the answer is only as current as the numbers you give it.
