Engine Displacement Calculator

This calculator turns bore, stroke and cylinder count into engine displacement. Enter the two measurements in millimetres or inches, say how many cylinders there are, and add an overbore if the block has been bored oversize; the answer comes back in cubic centimetres, litres and cubic inches at once, along with the swept volume of a single cylinder and the bore to stroke ratio. Unit conversion uses the exact figure of 16.387064 cubic centimetres per cubic inch, so the cc and cubic inch answers always agree. Displacement is swept volume only, which is why boring a block a few thousandths over changes it more than the number looks like it should. It is not a compression ratio, and it says nothing about power.
