Subscription Box Pricing Calculator

A subscription box either works or it does not on the money left after one box has been made, packed, shipped and paid for. Enter the price, the cost of the goods, packaging, shipping, handling and the payment processing split, and this returns the contribution margin per box and which cost line is eating it. Add the monthly churn rate and the acquisition cost and it carries that margin through the average subscriber lifetime to a lifetime value, the LTV to CAC ratio and the box at which acquisition is finally paid back. A second action solves the other way for the price a target ratio would need, and a third runs a whole month with fixed costs and new subscribers in it. Lifetime is taken as one over the churn rate, which reads optimistically for a young box whose first month churns hardest.
