Child Height Predictor

This estimates how tall a child will end up from the heights of their two parents, using the mid-parental method a paediatrician would use. Enter both parents' heights in centimetres or inches and say whether the child is a boy or a girl, and it returns the target height with the range of about 10 cm either side that it is honestly good to. Nothing about the child goes into the sum, so it cannot see a growth spurt, a delay or an illness. A growth chart plotted at every visit, read by a paediatrician, tells you far more than this does.

Height Unit

Both parents measured without shoes, and the child you are predicting for. The answer comes with the range it is really good to.

In the unit you picked above. 120 to 230 cm, or 47 to 91 in.
