GKI Calculator

The glucose ketone index divides blood glucose in mmol/L by blood ketones in mmol/L, giving a single number that tracks how deep a state of ketosis is. Enter a glucose reading in mg/dL or mmol/L together with a blood BHB ketone reading and it returns the index, the band that index falls in, and the figures it used to get there. A second action runs the same relation backwards and shows the ketone level a target index would need at your current glucose. It is a research index used to follow therapeutic ketosis rather than a diagnostic test, and it carries no agreed clinical cut-off.
