RPE Calculator

RPE rates how close a set came to failure: RPE 10 left nothing, RPE 9 left one rep, RPE 8 left two, and each half point is half a rep. Enter the weight, the reps and the RPE and this returns the percentage of your one rep max that set represents, the 1RM it implies, and the common training percentages below it. The second mode runs backwards, taking a one rep max and the set you want to hit and giving the weight to load, rounded to the nearest plate jump. Epley and Brzycki are printed alongside for comparison, and they disagree because they never asked how the set felt.

Unit

A set you already did: the weight, the reps and how hard it felt. The RPE is what separates this from a reps-only estimate.

The other way round. Give a one rep max and the set you want to hit, and it returns the weight to load.
