Sorting numbers is easy once they are all the same kind of thing, and getting them there is the actual work. Enter a list that mixes whole numbers, decimals, fractions, mixed numbers, percentages, square roots such as sqrt(2) or 2sqrt(3), and multiples of pi, and this converts every entry to a decimal, orders them, and shows the converted value beside the original so you can see why each one landed where it did. Values that turn out to be equal, such as 0.7 and 70 percent, are joined with an equals sign rather than silently separated. The comparison is carried to thirty decimal places, so 1.4142 sits below the square root of two instead of tying with it.

Separate with commas. Whole numbers, decimals, fractions such as 3/4, mixed numbers such as 1 1/2, percentages such as 70%, square roots written sqrt(2) or 2sqrt(3), and multiples of pi such as pi/2 all work together in one list.
Only affects the column you read. The comparison itself is carried to thirty places, so two values that differ further out are still put in the right order.
