Percentile Calculator

A percentile describes where a number sits in a data set rather than how large it is. Paste your numbers and this returns the percentile rank of any value, counted three ways: at or below, below only, and with half the ties. A second mode gives the value at a percentile you choose, by linear interpolation and by the nearest rank method, since the two definitions disagree on small sets. A third returns the quartiles and the interquartile range. The interpolated figures match Excel PERCENTILE.INC and QUARTILE.INC.
