Wavelength Calculator
Wavelength is the wave speed divided by the frequency, so the answer depends on what the wave is travelling through as much as on the frequency itself. Enter a frequency or a wavelength, pick vacuum, air, water, glass or a speed of your own, and this returns the other one along with the period, the wavenumber, the angular frequency and the band the wave falls in. For light it also gives the photon energy in electronvolts, joules and kilojoules per mole, and a third mode runs the other way from an energy to a wavelength. Sound in air uses the temperature you give, because the speed of sound climbs about 0.6 metres per second for every degree.
