Retirement Calculator for Couples

A couple's retirement plan turns on three things a single-person calculator cannot see. Enter the joint spending, each partner's pension and Social Security and what happens to the smaller one at the first death, and this returns the savings needed while both are alive and in each survivor case. A second action projects two people saving to two different retirement ages, and a third counts the years the money must cover to the later of the two planning ages. Returns are a flat annual figure and nothing here allows for tax.

Calculator Type
One person rarely spends half of what two did. The housing, the car and the property tax do not halve.
