Creatinine Clearance Calculator

This tool applies the Cockcroft-Gault equation, which estimates creatinine clearance from age, sex, body weight and a single serum creatinine. Enter those in whichever units your result came in and it returns the clearance in mL/min, the arithmetic behind it, and optionally the same figure recalculated from ideal and adjusted body weight. It estimates clearance rather than measuring it, and the answer is not an eGFR: the GFR calculator on this site reports a different quantity, normalised to body surface area. It does not replace a clinician.
