Height Calculator

This does two things with a height. The first action converts between feet and inches, total inches, centimetres, metres and millimetres, and writes the short form too, using the exact 2.54 cm inch. The second takes a child or teenager from two to twenty years old, with a standing height and a sex, and places them on the CDC stature-for-age reference, returning the percentile, the z score, the median for that age and a chart of the third, fiftieth and ninety-seventh percentile curves. It does not predict adult height; the child height predictor handles the mid-parental estimate for that. A percentile is a position against other children of the same age, not a diagnosis.
