Mean Arterial Pressure Calculator

Mean arterial pressure is the average pressure in the arteries across one heartbeat, and this tool estimates it from an ordinary cuff reading. Enter the systolic and diastolic numbers, either once or for up to three readings, and it returns the MAP, the pulse pressure and the average across those readings. The arithmetic is the standard bedside formula, diastolic plus a third of the pulse pressure. That is an estimate from a cuff rather than a measured arterial pressure, and it does not replace a clinician.
