Cross Country Ski Size Calculator

Cross country skis are sized quite differently from alpine skis, and on a classic ski the length that matters is set by weight more than by height. Enter your height and weight and you get a classic length from the makers' weight charts alongside the height rule, a skate length, and classic and skate pole lengths. A second action does poles on their own and a third checks a ski you already own against both rules. The rules differ between makers by about one size, so treat the answer as the number to walk into the shop with.
