Cross Stitch Calculator

This turns a cross stitch chart into fabric measurements. Enter the stitches wide and high, the fabric count and whether you are working over one Aida block or over two threads of evenweave, and it returns the stitches per inch, the finished design size in inches and centimetres, and the size to cut once a margin is added on every side. It also runs backwards from a finished size to the stitches that fit, and lists what one chart measures on each fabric normally sold. Thread quantity is left out on purpose, since how much floss a stitch uses depends on strand count and technique rather than on arithmetic.
