Sheep Gestation Calculator

This tool turns a breeding date into an expected lambing date using the published average gestation for sheep of 147 days, which you can change for the breed you keep. It gives the date with a window either side, plus the scanning window and the start of the last third of gestation, and it will also run backwards from a lambing date you want to the day the ram has to go in. A third action takes the ram in and ram out dates and returns the whole lambing period, since that period is exactly as long as the joining. Gestation length moves with breed, litter size and the individual ewe, so every answer here is a planning figure rather than a fixed date.
