Cramer's Rule Calculator
This tool solves two or three linear equations by Cramer's rule rather than by elimination. You type the coefficients and the constants, and it returns the determinant of the coefficient matrix, one determinant for each unknown with that unknown's column swapped for the constants, and the division that turns the pair into a value. Every determinant is expanded exactly, so the answers come back as reduced fractions as well as decimals and the substitution check is exact rather than rounded. When the coefficient determinant is zero the rule cannot finish, and the page says which of the two failures it is when the replaced determinants can tell them apart.
