Relative Frequency Calculator

This calculator builds a frequency distribution table rather than a single number. Paste a list of raw values, type category counts you have already tallied, or group numeric data into classes, and it returns the frequency, the relative frequency as a decimal and as a percent, and the cumulative versions of both, with a cumulative curve underneath. The grouped action picks a class width from your data's own precision and reports what Sturges' rule would have suggested. Every table closes on itself: the frequencies add back to the count and the relative frequencies add back to one.

Write "label: count". A bare list of numbers works too, and the categories are then numbered for you.

Five to twenty is the usual range. Sturges' rule suggests about 1 + 3.322 log10(n), and the result reports what that comes to for your data.
