Square Footage Calculator

Measure a house one room at a time and turn the total into a flooring order. The single room mode takes feet and inches on each side, so 12 ft 6 in becomes 12.5 without you doing the sum, and returns square feet, square yards, square metres and the perimeter. The room by room mode adds up to six rectangles together and lists each one beside the total. The flooring mode then applies a waste allowance, divides by the coverage printed on the carton and rounds up, because you cannot buy part of a box. Everything is measured as rectangles, so an L shaped room goes in as two of the six.
