Golf Club Length Calculator

Club length is set by how far your hands sit from the ground, not by height alone, so this page bands you on the standard wrist-to-floor static fitting chart and reports the height band beside it as a cross-check. Enter your height, your wrist-to-floor measurement and which set of standards you are working from, and it returns the adjustment from standard and the resulting length for every club from driver to sand wedge. A second action compares a club you already own against the same chart. It is a starting point only, because a dynamic fitting with the ball in the air governs, and lie angle is a separate measurement.

Clubmaking is an inch trade, so a centimetre length always names the inch figure beside it -- that is the number a workshop will want.

Bands you on the wrist-to-floor static fitting chart, shows the height band beside it, and lays the adjustment over a set of standard lengths.

Only used when the radio above is set to centimetres.
Stand upright in your shoes, arms hanging loose, and measure from the crease of the wrist to the floor, in the unit picked above. Leave at zero to go by height alone, which is the weaker half of the chart.
