Antiderivative Calculator

This page finds indefinite integrals, which is the antiderivative written with its constant of integration. It handles a fixed list of forms: whole-number powers of x from x^0 to x^12 by the power rule, 1/x which integrates to the natural log of the absolute value of x, and the standard forms e^x, sin(x), cos(x) and sec^2(x), added and subtracted with any coefficients. Anything that needs substitution, integration by parts or the chain rule, such as sin(2x) or x times e^x, is refused with a message naming the supported list rather than guessed at. A second mode pins the constant down from a point the antiderivative passes through.
