Fence Stain Cost Calculator

A fence stained on both sides is roughly twice the area of its face, and a gapped picket fence adds two edges per board. Enter the run, the height, the picket and gap widths, the rails and the post spacing, and the page builds the stainable area piece by piece before turning it into gallons and a priced total. Coverage, stain price, prep, labour and tax are all your own figures, so there is no price list behind the answer. A second tab prices a square footage you already have.

In feet. Leave blank for 8 ft.
