Shower Tile Calculator

A shower is not a rectangle, so this counts it the way it is built. Give the width, depth and tiled height and it works out the wall run for an alcove, a corner or a full enclosure, adds the three tiled faces of the curb, adds each niche and takes its opening back out of the wall, then turns the total into tiles and boxes at your tile size, joint width and waste allowance. A second action handles the sloped pan on its own: the fall to the drain, how thick the mortar bed has to be at the far corner, the volume and bag count, and the size of liner needed to turn up the walls and over the curb. Materials only, with no prices, no labour and no thinset or grout coverage in it.
