AP English Language Score Calculator

The AP English Language exam is 45 multiple choice questions worth 45 percent of the score and three essays scored 0 to 6 worth the other 55 percent. Enter your raw points and this tool works out that weighted composite as a percentage, then places it in a band from 1 to 5. The bands themselves are an approximation, because the College Board does not publish the raw-to-scaled conversion and it shifts from year to year, so read the composite percentage as the real output and treat the predicted score as a rough guide. The second tab works backwards and says how many essay points a target score would need under the same bands.
