High School GPA Calculator

A GPA is the credit-weighted average of your grade points, so a five credit course counts for more than a one credit course. Enter up to six courses, each with a letter grade and the credits it carries, and you get the GPA, the total credits and the quality points behind it. The weighted tab adds the usual bonus for harder courses, half a point for honors and a full point for AP or IB, and shows the unweighted figure next to it. Schools differ on the fine detail, such as whether a plus or minus counts, so check your own handbook before relying on the number.
