LSAC GPA Calculator

The GPA on a law school report is not the GPA on a transcript, and this page shows the difference. Enter each graded attempt with its credits and it converts them on the scale LSAC publishes for Credential Assembly Service transcript summarization, where an A+ is 4.33, a withdrawal recorded with a penalty is a zero that still carries its credits, and a pass or credit grade is left out of both the points and the credits. A second action takes a course you failed and retook and shows what the first attempt costs, because LSAC counts both attempts even when the school replaced the grade. It cannot read a transcript key or a degree date, so the official figure is still the one LSAC produces.

Calculator Type

Enter each graded attempt, including any course you repeated, on the scale LSAC converts to. The result is the GPA those grades summarize to and what a plain 4.00 transcript scale would have shown instead.

Carry an earlier run forward: the points figure this page gave you last time.

A course failed and taken again, against a record you already have. LSAC counts both attempts; a school that replaces the first grade does not.

Everything except the course being repeated.
