PSAT Score Calculator

This tool converts digital PSAT results between raw answers, section scores and the National Merit Selection Index. Enter how many of the 54 Reading and Writing and 44 Math questions you answered correctly and it estimates each section score and the total for the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10 or PSAT 8/9; enter section scores you already have and it computes the Selection Index exactly, since that index is a defined sum rather than a curve. A third action works backwards from a target index to the section score still needed. The College Board equates every form separately and does not publish its conversion tables, so the raw estimate uses one stated straight line rule and labels itself as an approximation on every result.
